FAMILY PROGRAMS

Discover and create with monthly themesChild and adult making art at Early Explorers.

Discover science, history, culture, and art through hands-on investigations, crafts, and games. Explore a different theme every month! For more information, go to the Family Programs page.

EARLY EXPLORERS (ages 5 and under, with adult): Every Friday, 10 am - noon
JUNIOR CURATORS (ages 6 and up, with adult): One Saturday per month, 2 pm - 4 pm

FAMILY DAYS

Science, art, history, and culture in your handsA visitor explores specimens from the collection.

Connect with the museum during our monthly themed Family Days! Meet curators, scientists, and other experts.  Enjoy hands-on activities, including take-home crafts, games, and experiments.  All ages are welcome! For more information, go to the Family Days page.

Guests 14 and under are free on Family Days.

TEEN WORKSHOPS

ARTSci Workshops are designed for teens to explore connections between art and science, discover new skills, and create something to take home. Register for one workshop, or the whole series. For ages 13-18.  For more information, go to the ARTSci Workshops page.

 

MUSEUM SLEEPOVER 

Spend a night at the museum

Sleepover logoJoin us for after-hours special activities and gallery explorations. Create, explore, and sleep among the exhibits. An evening snack and light breakfast are provided.
For 7-13 year olds with accompanying adult (1 adult can accompany up to 3 kids).

Our Family Room is a place for children and adults to explore, play, and relax. Hands-on objects, toys, puzzles, and books encourage investigation and discoveries.

Included with museum admission. Open daily.
