The UA Museum of the North offers the following services to military members.

Admission Discounts

The museum is pleased to offer admission discounts for Alaska Active Duty Military and Veterans. See the Hours & Admissions page for details.

Museum Passes

Museum Passes are available at the Fort Wainwright, Eielson AFB, Noel Wien, and North Pole libraries. A pass may be checked out for a free one-day family admission to the museum.

Family Programs

Family Programs at the museum offer opportunities for all ages to discover Alaska's science, arts, and culture. Early Explorers (ages 5 and under with adult), Junior Curators (ages 6 and up with adult), and Family Days (all ages) offer monthly themes and hands-on learning activities designed to promote curiosity and exploration.

Bus Tours

The museum is pleased to participate in weekly Fort Wainwright off-post welcome tours. Each Friday morning, soldiers and their families get an opportunity to tour various community organizations, including the museum, hosted by Explore Fairbanks.
