Update on OU Campus transition
January 31, 2019
UAF continues to transition from Roxen to a new website platform called OU Campus.
OU Campus is a web content management system that’s fast and easy to use, and is designed
specifically for higher education. It’s currently used by hundreds of colleges and universities.
OU Campus was launched at UAF in fall 2018. Several websites have already migrated
to the new platform. (See the list below). If you manage a Roxen website but haven’t
yet heard from the Office of Information Technology or University Relations about
migrating your site, don’t worry, you’ll be hearing from them soon!
Training for OU Campus is available on Blackboard. Just log in with your UA username and password to get access. You can do the training
at your own pace, but you’ll need to complete it before you can be granted editing
permissions.
For more information about the transition to OU Campus, visit OIT’s OU Campus project page, or contact the OIT Support Center at 450-8300 or helpdesk@alaska.edu.
