Program at a Glance
The Master of Healthcare Management and Leadership program at the University of Alaska Fairbanks is specifically designed for healthcare professionals who are looking to enhance their leadership skills and advance their career in the healthcare industry. Our program provides students with a comprehensive understanding of healthcare management, health care finance and economics, and health care data analytics and leadership.
Introduced in Fall 2023, the Master in Healthcare Management and Leadership at CBSM prepares students to embark on or boost their career in healthcare administration via three pathways:
- 30-credit online Master of Healthcare Management and Leadership (MHML) full degree program
- 12-credit online Healthcare Management and Leadership Certificate program
- Healthcare concentration under the MBA degree program
The MHML program has achieved accreditation from Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business, ensuring the degree meets rigorous standards and delivers a solid management education. MHML courses are designed by and for healthcare professionals and are offered completely online, making it accessible to non-traditional, working and remote students.
